This list contains products and combinations of products which are certified for production of documents in accordance with the Swedish National Archives regulations and recommendations on technical requirements and certification, RA-FS 2012:8. Conditions for certification are given in RA-FS 2012:8 and in SPCR 004 Certification rules for archival materials (2013).

The certificate is valid for products delivered from the certificate holder. It is valid for products with designations in full agreement with that given in the list.

Certification means that one or more samples of a product have been tested in accordance with a certain specification, that these samples have been proved to meet the requirements and that there is a company responsible for certain obligations. Test results obtained when testing for certification relates to the tested sample(s). The holder of the certificate is responsible for agreement of products delivered to customers with the tested product with respect to composition, construction, setting and other properties of importance for the test results.

Certified products may be marked with RISE certification symbol for archival materials, including the words 'svenskt arkiv'. The symbol may also be used in catalogues, data letters and other marketing activities.

In short, certification implies that documents produced with certified products have a permanence such that the recording may be read, copied and converted to another medium.

The certificates relate to pens, inks, stamp pad inks etc. for preparation of recording on paper in accordance with the Swedish National Archives regulations and recommendations on technical requirements and certification, RA-FS 2012:8.
